Culture in Hallstatt

100 Years of Dachstein World Heritage
|
100 years have gone by since cave explorer Georg Lahner first ventured into the depths of the
Dachstein Giant Ice Cave. Throughout this last century, this largest subterranean ice-filled landscape has transformed the Inner Salzkammergut into a tourist magnet.

Ice Fall Climbing
|
This brand new trend sport has also reached Bad Goisern.
When the temperatures around Bad Goisern sink low enough between Christmas and the end of February, you can climb up frozen water falls or more aptly named ice falls.
