Horse drawn sledge ride

When it come to romance it is hard to beat a sleigh ride across the winter landscape. The powerful horses pulling sleighs are typical for the ideal image of the Salzkammergut in winter.

The cost per journey varies between 11 and 13 Euros per person, depending on the time of day.

A horse-drawn sleigh ride is available, by prior arrangement, from Gosau Mittertal to Gosau Hintertal, and includes a stop off with refreshments in the local museum. A very special treat, particularly suited to groups. The sledge ride and refreshments in the museum cost 17 Euros.
