Gosau
There are also numerous cross-country ski trails in the Gosau Valley, where nature invites one to enjoy its charms. The start and finish of all trails is at the sports centre (near the Pass Gschütt junction – Tourist Office)
There is also a practice trail on which beginners can make their first efforts. One can choose between four trails (Kohlstatt Trail North 10km, Märchenwald Trail North 10km, Dorf/Sonnen Trail South 20km, Sport Trail 5km). The Sport Trail was the European Championship course in 1970 and is only for practised cross-country skiers because it is very demanding.
