An exciting adventure for all the family. Excursions to the Plankenstein-Alm, Iglmoosalm, Neualm, and Ebenalm pastures nestling high in the mountains.
Day trip to the Plankenstein-Alm
Departs 9.30am. Return approximately 5-6pm.
Price 17 Euros per adult.
8.50 Euros for children up to 15 years.
Children under 6 years - no charge.
The journey takes us via the upper Gosau lake through beautiful, unspoilt countryside and to the Plankenstein-Alm (mountain pasture at an altitude of 1600 metres). Estimated arrival time - 12.00. You have about 4 hours here to relax, enjoy many walks and trails and listen to Leo play traditional music on his zither. Leo then escorts us on a short walk to the "Wildereransitz" (poachers' hide-out!) which we reach in about 20 minutes, and here we can enjoy wonderful alpine views towards Hallstatt and its lake.

The journey to this idyllic alpine pasture takes around one and a quarter hours. Enjoy magnificent scenery and panoramic views of the alps. There are opportunities for short walks and to listen to the sounds of the zither being played for you.
