Ewige Wand Via Ferrata

A short but nevertheless very exposed via ferrata, which, on its own, is less interesting. However, this climb can be combined with the original "Leadership Klettersteig"“ to the summit of the Predigstuhl along a marked footpath.

The route: 50 metres of altitude/20 - 25 minutes duration. Leaving the car park at the Rathlucka Mountain Lodge you follow the easy, level Goisern Legends Trail to the rock face. Here begins the trail, hollowed out from the rocks, to the western part of the Ewigen Wand, which can easily be reached by following the wooded trail. Access to the via ferrata is reached before the second tunnel along the path cut out from the rocks.

Route:
Very clearly marked with strong foot holds in the rocks. The climb coninues steeply onwards (grade B/C) and curves from right to left (B) to the top.

Ascent/combination with the Predigstuhl:Descend a little way along a marked path towards the Predigstuhl until you reach the junction with the Ewige Wand trail.
