In front of the majestic Gosaukamm mountain range is the Gablonzer Hut which is the perfect destination for visitors of all ages.
Take the cable car from the Lower Gosau Lake, or if you are feeling more energetic, follow the Herrenweg trail (which begins in the valley) up to the hut. The hut is also the starting point for numerous other hikes and trails.
The Gablonzer Hut offers all the heart could possibly desire.
The comfortably furnished guest room has seating for 80 guests, whilst the terrace can accomodate a further 100 people. Overnight accommodation is also available with camping faciltities for 70 guests and 30 beds.
Open every day from Christmas until the end of the ski season in the Dachstein West Ski Resort and from approx. mid May (depending on snow conditions) until the end of October.
