Welcome to Bad Goisern and the "Predigstuhl" - a lovely area for exploring on foot! The Hütteneckalm is one of the most popular destinations for hikers in the Dachstein Salzkammergut Region.
The stunning views towards Lake Hallstatt and the Dachstein, as well as a lovely long rest on the sun terrace, make this walk into a truly special occasion.
The proprietor of the hut spoils visitors with home-made delicacies made from home-grown products including
Kaiserschmarrn (a regional sweet dish), snacks and home-made cakes.
Throughout the winter months the Hütteneckalm is a popular destination for ski tours, tobogganing excursions, snowshoe hikers and walkers.
Starting point: Wurmstein neighbourhood (Predigstuhl inn) or the Flohwiese car park in the Pichlern neighbourhood.
Allow: One to one and a half hours
Level of difficulty: Easy

Refreshments available from 15th May to 15th October
Daily from 10.00 - 18.00 (except Wednesday evenings when a group of cyclists have a social gathering)
In winter: from 27th December every Sunday
Seating available: 40 inside, 150 outside on the balcony
