Service of religious worship and traditional event on an alpine pasture - the beautiful, natural surroundings of the Roßmoosalm mountain pasture is the perfect setting for an atmospheric outdoor religious service and a traditional event held on an pasture.
The Roßmoosalm alpine pasture in Bad Goisern has lush green grass, traditional rustic huts, is surrounded by dense, dark green forests, and is set against the magnificent backdrop of the Dachstein and the Predigstuhl.
The religious service on the Roßmoos will take place at 11.00 on 16. September 2012 near the "Dax'n-Hütte" hut, accompanied by local musicians.
This will be followed by a traditional mountain fest. Delicious home-made food and drink will be prepared by the Beriga musicians, and numerous music groups and traditional bands will provide entertainment and ensure there is a warm, friendly atmosphere.
To get to the Roßmoosalm, follow the 6 km, toll-free Panoramic Drive to the Predigstuhl Inn (just off the roundabout on the B145). From here it is a short, easy walk (15 minutes) to the alpine pasture.
...The event will only take place if the weather is "reasonable" ... alternate date: 30. September 2012
